Bret Michaels is preparing to resume his solo touring schedule in October after emergency surgery forced him to cancel performances earlier this year. The Poison frontman has also expressed interest in reuniting the band’s original lineup in 2027 or 2028, depending on his health.

His Live & Amplified tour is scheduled to return October 16 at the Amphitheater at Founders Square in Portage, Indiana. The performance replaces a concert originally booked for August 7. Michaels will also play Island Resort & Casino in Harris, Michigan, on November 13 and November 14.

Encouraging fans to purchase tickets in a recent Instagram post, Michaels said, “You know I’m gonna give it all I’ve got.”

The singer has also announced a November 29 performance at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, billed as a “Hometown Holiday Show.” Tickets went on sale to the public September 21 at 10 a.m., following a September 18 presale for Westmoreland Cultural Trust donors. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m., according to the venue’s event listing.

The upcoming concerts follow a recovery period that already included one unsuccessful attempt to resume touring. Michaels, 63, was hospitalized in July after experiencing severe pain during several performances. He underwent procedures to address an obstructing kidney stone and implant a ureteral stent.

Michaels returned to the stage August 21 in Sugar Hill, Georgia. The following day, however, he announced that he and his doctors had decided to cancel the remaining shows on his 2026 schedule so he could continue recovering.

His recent posts describe a renewed goal of performing a limited number of concerts. Writing about living with diabetes, Michaels discussed the challenges of managing the condition and how those experiences have shaped his determination.

“Just like now, setting a goal to come back and rock the stage for a few special shows, and truly hoping to see an all-original Poison reunion in either 2027 or 2028, depending on how things go health-wise,” he wrote.

Beyond the fall concerts, he is scheduled to appear aboard Rock Legends Cruise XIV, which runs February 21 through February 25, 2027. The sailing will travel from Miami to Costa Maya, Mexico.

Other acts on the cruise lineup include Foreigner, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Collective Soul, Alan Parsons Live Project, Gin Blossoms and The Fixx.
